Oklahoma AWARE West- Ensuring Mental Health Needs are Met for All Students Through a Multi-Tiered System of Support

SWIFT Education Center provides professional development opportunities in Weatherford, Woodward, and Elk City Public Schools in Oklahoma, with an explicit emphasis on Multi-Tiered System of Support  academic, social, emotional, physical, and behavioral domains; their relationship to overall wellness; and the need for a continuum of support addressing mental health needs.  The Center supports school and district leaders as they build understanding of MTSS and its implementation characteristics; communicate and disseminate within their MTSS plans in their local communities; and as they install and sustain MTSS beyond the project timeline.
