Resources to Support Research and Education
At the Life Span Institute, we support investigators, staff and students in our research centers and offer those services to KU faculty in affiliated university departments. We invite you to partner with us for your next research project.
Resources
Central Office
Central Office staff are the first point of contact for visitors to the Life Span Institute in the Dole Human Development Building. Staff provide services including administrative support, space management, and mail and package services.
Project Development
The Project Development team facilitates grant proposals and reporting processes for external research funding in the areas of human development, education, and health.
Finance and Planning
Finance and Planning staff provide overall financial leadership in the management of state, research, endowment, and fee-for-service resources.
Faculty, Staff and Resources
Research Design and Analysis
Research Design and Analysis staff provide collaborative services and resources for proposal development, data analysis, data management, and graphical design.
Information Technology
Information Technology supports the IT needs of all Life Span Institute centers, research units, and labs as well as the needs of College of Liberal Arts departments affiliated with institute.
Communications
Communications staff offer support through research news and features, video and website production, training and outreach opportunities, research volunteer recruitment, and by internal and external promotion of the work of Life Span Institute investigators and students.
Frontiers
The Frontiers Clinical & Translational Institute, based at the KU Medical Center, offers recruitment resources, bioinformatics supports, seed funding, training and fellowship opportunities, and multiple additional resources relevant for clinical/translational researchers and trainees. To use the resource, you must become a member, which is free.
