Idaho Advancing Wellness and Resiliency in Education (AWARE)

The Dole building on a sunny summer day with blue sky and clouds.

Idaho AWARE goals focus on increasing and improving access to mental health services, developing school-based screening programs to support early mental health intervention, conducting outreach efforts to increase prevention and knowledge of mental health issues, connecting with families to increase their engagement, promoting resilience and prosocial behavior, equipping schools with the ability to immediately and appropriately respond when clinical intervention is indicated, and developing an infrastructure to sustain and expand mental health services and supports. SWIFT Education Center provides evaluation for Idaho AWARE through collection and analysis of data received from participating local educational agencies, supplies reports on evidence-based practice outcomes to Idaho AWARE contractors, and provides consultation regarding best practices in distributing surveys.
