Supporting Participatory Evaluation of Substance Abuse Prevention Initiatives in Kansas Using an Online Community Monitoring and Evaluation System

The Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) supports prevention efforts across Kansas and the Center conducts and supports local prevention initiatives in assessment, data collection and analysis, and participatory evaluation. The Center for Community Health and Development provides an evaluation infrastructure to support these state and local efforts in Kansas.  The Center builds community capacity for evaluation and measurement of progress and changes in community-level outcomes. The Center has provided participatory evaluation, documentation, and technical support for this ongoing effort since 1998.
