Biography

Kayla Bjorlie is a doctoral student in KU's Clinical Psychology program and a student of Dr. Tera Fazzino in the Health Behavior and Technology Lab. Her research interests include motivational processes underlying addictive behaviors and binge eating. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a B.S. in Psychology.

Research

Kayla's research interests include the overlap between disordered eating behavior and addiction. She is also interested in the role of emotion regulation and impulsivity in the development and maintenance of eating and substance use disorders.
