Charter Management Organizations - Principal and Charter School Site Leadership Technical Assistance

SWIFT Education Center supports capacity building of Charter Management Organizations (CMOs) leaders and Principals to effectively implement professional learning opportunities and job-embedded coaching for each principal/CMO leaders. These activities aim to help Principal leaders articulate why they are committed to leading their schools to improve outcomes for students with disabilities; know what instructional strategies can be effective for supporting the full array of student needs in grade-level; and implement or improve in their schools’ highly functioning teams that understand data structures, set clear priorities, and install effective practices that produce demonstrable results. The Center also conducts assessment of school leadership structures using SWIFT Fidelity Integrity Assessment (SWIFT-FIA) and SWIFT Fidelity Assessment Tool (SWIFT-FIT) to understand the extent of organizational transformation throughout the life of the project.
