Biography —
Jia Quan received her Ph.D. in Research and Evaluation Methodology with a minor in Statistics from the University of Florida in 2023, marking the commencement of her journey with Research Design and Analysis at the KU Life Span Institute. As an assistant research professor, Jia plays a pivotal role in meeting the diverse research needs of fellow researchers and scientists. Her expertise is centered around quantitative methodological and analytical research, with a keen focus on quasi-experimental design, causal inference, psychometrics, and machine learning across the fields of social sciences, behavior sciences, and biomedical research. She is proficient in R, Python, SPSS, Mplus, and Tableau, occasionally utilizing SAS. Her contributions have been presented at esteemed conferences such as AERA, NCME, and IMPS.
