Professional Development Opportunity for Infant and Toddler Early Intervention Providers or Home Visitors


Researchers are conducting a study on how professional development and coaching can support the implementation of "Promoting Communication Tools for Advancing Language in Kids" (PC TALK) intervention to promote language growth with young children enrolled in early intervention or home visiting programs.

Provider and family incentives are available for participation.

Who can participate?

  • Home visitor or Part C early intervention providers
  • Serves families with a child between the ages of 9 months and 24 months (2 years)
  • Serve at least families who speak English and/or Spanish

What does participation include?

  • Recruit at least three families on your caseload to participate
  • Complete audio recordings of home visits and surveys
  • Random assignment to a control or intervention group (9-month commitment involving professional development, coaching and PC TALK implementation)
