Act Early Ambassadors
The goals for this ACT Early ambassadorship would be first to continue the work with Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities (KCCTO) to expand awareness and embed resources of Learn the Signs. Act Early to the world of early care and education. This work began with creation of a Kansas online adaptation of Watch Me!. The work would continue with an expansion of use of the LTSAE materials across all KCCTO training modules as appropriate. KCCTO training reaches between 500-1000 providers per week. In particular, the use of the materials in conjunction with online ASQ-ASQ SE training modules would be a target. The Kansas focus is on how to work to refer to tiny-k and other supports if concerns occur as a result of the use of LTSAE materials. A secondary goal would be to continue to expand the integration of LTSAE materials in the Maternal Child Health programs and the Children with Special Health Care Needs program. One particular focus is development of an online training about the LTSAE materials and how to embed the materials to support developmental monitoring to become part of the training package for both programs. |
