Biography

I am interested in understanding the effects of trauma or adversity exposure in children and adolescents (and youth in foster care). Within this area, I am interested in how trauma exposure is measured, how trauma exposure influences cognitive and academic development, as well as identifying what factors (biological, social, and psychological) contribute to the development of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
