CORGI 2020: Scaling Models for the Classrooms of Tomorrow

JRP Hall, home to the Center for Research on Learning

This project is utilizing technology  associated with CORGI 2 to meet the following goals: (1) A fully-featured and stable CORGI application with the new functionality available to the public; (2) a library of content including lessons and units aligned to NGSS to used with CORGI (created by KU-CRL, SCCOE, and CAST); (3) Conduct usability and preliminary research to evaluate student and teacher use of CORGI and student  learning; (4) Prepare professional development modules to support online, hybrid, and face to face  implementations; and (6) Disseminate findings of the research.  This project and subcontract build upon the prior work to support the use of CORGI in face-to-face, online, and hybrid environments including professional development resources to be housed on Leaming Designed, design-based research for the development of materials, and experimental evaluations on student learning. In particular, the work is intended to be useful and usable in remote learning environments in greater use during the time of Covid-19.
